This week, a couple new songs have been added to Energy 92.7's library. Okay, three songs to be exact. David Morales Featuring Lea Lorien's "How Would U Feel" was added last week. And Jonathan Peters Featuring Sylver's "All This Time" and DJ Tiesto's "Coming Home" were added yesterday (the 25th of January). The first two have been fairly successful on other dance stations throughout the U.S. and have already had their basic run. Better late than never. And the new DJ Tiesto track comes off of his latest project Parade Of The Athletes. For those who didn't know, Tiesto spun at the opening ceremonies for the Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece in 2004. This CD is a collection of his songs inspired by that. It would have been nice if he had released an edited down version of his Olympics mix. From what I could hear in the background during the opening ceremonies, he was pretty good.
It's unfortunate that DJ Tiesto's "Traffic [DJ Montana Edit]" hasn't been getting that many plays. It was an excellent instrumental track. It was added a short while back and began to increase in plays, then it has just dropped down in play. Maybe it will surge up again later on the way Despina Vandi's "Gia" did. It dropped into the top 50 and then made it back into the top 30 last week. Rupee's "Tempted To Touch [Remix]" and Lasgo's "Surrender" have been at the top of the playlist vying for the number one spot. Soon, a new song will probably take the top spot.
